The Henly South Volunteer Fire Department is part of the larger fire and rescue organization in Hays County, Texas. Located on FM-2325 northwest of Wimberley, Texas (directly across the street from the entrance of Hill Country Ranches), it serves the community with a mix of paid firefighters and volunteers. The station grand opening was held on October 13th, 2007 and featured a visit by the Air Evac Life Team helicopter.
