The Rabbit Report

June 14, 2008 – 5:54 am

The Rabbit Report is a home-grown, quarterly newsletter produced exclusively for the Hill Country Ranches community of Wimberley, Texas. It’s funded by the editor-in-chief and its contributing editors—along with private and public donations by local businesses and entrepreneurs who reside in Hill Country Ranches (HCR) and the surrounding areas. It’s an uncensored gathering place in print, produced of, by, and for the community.

Four times a year (give or take a month or two), the newsletter is mailed to all of the current residents free of charge. It’s provided as a service to all residents and land owners, whether they have a permanent home here or just a weekend Hill Country getaway. If you are thinking of relocating to HCR and would like to obtain a copy, feel free to email the editor for more information.

Edited by author Gyvel Young Witzel (owner of SecurePet pet sitting), the Rabbit Report relies on your input and your suggestions. To keep the content vibrant and timely, please feel free to contact her with your news, story ideas, and suggestions. This is your place to make your views known. We need your input!

For those who missed the printed edition, lost it to their goat, or simply didn’t get a copy because the mails didn’t get through (yes, it does happen out in the country), Adobe Acrobat portable document files or PDFs of current and previous issues are posted here for your convenience. To view them on either a Mac or PC platform, all you need is a free copy of the Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you don’t have a copy, get yourself to this Adobe Acrobat Download link and download the version you need.

To view an archived copy of the Rabbit Report, simply click on one of the Adobe Acrobat icons next to the edition that you would like to read. If all goes well, the newsletter will launch Acrobat Reader, either as a separate program or in you web browser (if you installed the browser plug-in application). We hope you enjoy the articles, and be sure to check back often for all new and upcoming editions.

  3. Hello –

First, my congratulations to those members of the HCR community who obviously devote significant time and effort to help others enjoy and preserve the character of your neighborhood. Good job!

Second, I have a question about the HCR deed restrictions: Are horses allowed?
